Lighthouses

I started my love affair with lighthouses years ago when we rented a room atop a lighthouse in the West Indies. The light is so intriguing with its spiritual connections and symbolism of hope that these lights will guide you to your home harbor safely.
Bakers Light on Bakers Island Medium - CollagraphSize 9 ¼ X 11 ¼Price $600 Bakers island was not very far from a harbor where we lived 50 years ago. It's a privately owned island by the Bakers. A funny story, a guy came to our back door in Manchester and held up some keys and said "did you lose some keys?" and I said no, but who are you?It turned out he was the lighthouse keeper. We called the lighthouse horn, Mrs. Baker’s cow.
Ghost Light (Eastern Point Light Varient)Medium - CollagraphSize 18 x 23Price $600 Eastern Point lighthouse.
Noon Light (Eastern Point Light Varient)Medium - CollagraphSize 11 ½ X 17Price $2500 I seem to fallen in love with the Eastern Point lighthouse because this is another view of it.
Thatchers Light on Thatchers IslandMedium - CollagraphSize 8 x 14 Price $375
There are two lighthouses on Thatchers island . You can see them both from a certain lookout, this is the one I saw on a day trip.
Harbor LightMedium - CollagraphSize 8 ½ x 18Price $600
Provincetown harbor, one of several lighthouses on this magical strip of land.
Walking in the LightMedium - CollagraphSize 18 x 23 Price $1250 I think this lighthouse is out across the Bay in Provincetown Massachusetts. I enjoyed trying to make footsteps obvious but not too obvious as they went across the sand up to the lighthouse.
MeditationMedium - Collagraph (Variant)Size 9 x 17Price $600 There's a special place on the water near Marblehead where I've always enjoyed sitting. The plate was made many years ago I think it was carborundum and modeling paste tapes for the chairs then the magic of intaglio printing mixed with relief printing with rollers covered in oil paint gliding over the inked and wiped collagraph plate. No wonder I am considered the icon of collagraph printmaking it's complicated but it's lots of fun.
Cape LightMedium - Stone LithographSize 19 x 14Price $2200 We were camping under the shadow of this handsome light. I dreamt about this light house, how I drew it with a black crayon on the stone. That's why it's different from all the rest of the light house prints.
Magestic LightMedium - CollagraphSize 17 ½ x 12 ¾ Price $1200 I stand up straight when I look at this image. It shows the fortitude and grace that lighthouses have. Notice the texture on the lighthouse walls!
